Misty Sims holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of helping professions, including serving as a counselor in a juvenile detention center, providing support in a psychiatric treatment setting, and working as a social worker with Child Protective Services.

After becoming a mother, Misty chose to dedicate her time to raising her family and has enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom in Greenville, South Carolina. She lives there with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Asa and Vivian.

Misty wanted to provide a resource to people who feel like they fall desperately short and imperfect - They want a deeper relationship with God but just don’t know where to start.
